That is a premise and a half! Hope it turns out enjoyable and not "too much".
Thanks, Valerie and Berengaria! I’m genuinely having fun with this book. I love the sci-fi setting, and somehow it just works its magic. It feels a bit like playing an old video game, except this time, I’m not playing it, I’m reading it.
