I stalled a little because of the holidays, but make no mistake, I'm loving this book! A close friend was just made aware that Alana is (born) female. I still think they are pushing, pretty heavy handedly, the idea that they are a girl and MUST be a girl. It is well intentioned, as they tell them (Alan) that they can still be powerful while being female, but I think the others are missing the point. Alan isn't a girl
