Jack the Ripper: well that wasn’t very nice of him after all

The Story We Used to Tell: now that’s spooky! Such an upsetting mental image of looking through the picture, very economical in its plotting.

The Honeymoon of Mrs. Smith: Spooky thought maybe not quite as much to chew on for me as the previous stories.

Louisa, Please Come Home: Both upsetting in concept but also oddly freeing. Odd one to read when I've been having some Family Trouble lately, ha.

Hit my goal for the year so I can go back to my plan to read short story collections alongside a novel or longer non-fiction book. Read The Possibility of Evil, great little story of a strange behavior that nonetheless stems from an easily recognized, insidious worldview. If only Miss Strangeworth was right, and there were very few people like her in the world.
