- excessively vulgar
- Excessive sexual references
- The entire story has been sex references and I need medication to go to sleep
- That doesn’t necessarily make a BAD book, but it makes IT BAD for me personally
- I’m sure there’s some good wrap up at the end, a great take away, somewhere there’s a moral to the story… I won’t be reading it
- It’s just not my cup of tea AND THATS FIIIIIINE

This book would be zero stars, but I don’t think you can give zero stars in Goodreads.
I had an awful time from start to where I stopped, and I imagine it would also be awful all the way through finish.
I’m sure people like this book because I did see a few people were saying Book even though I didn’t just a text on the video so that they like the book I personally DO NOT

I listened for all of another 4min and completely awful trash garbage I will not be listening to this. I will not be trying to listen to it again and I’m not gonna put it on my DNF shelf I hit done so that it can go on my finish list w/ a one star that it deserves and I won’t see it anymore. I’ll just have to remember the end of the year that I did which I will remember because I’m having an awful time.

My understanding so far:
Both of her parents have died. They were not necessarily good or caring parents.
She didn’t enjoy her job / work and she was left an inheritance of sorts
She has decided to take a year of rest i.e. seeing how much she could sleep through the yr
She goes to a psych to get medication to put her to sleep
Lies about symptoms to keep medication
Girl is trying to sleep

I was literally just complaining about this Book but yesterday I saw a review on it really I didn’t watch the review review. I just looked at the fucking thumb now, but it was saying that they were their favorite books and how much they liked it and I was like OK I’ll try my best to give it a chance again so here we go 5/13

put this book DNF shelf weeeeks ago. Yesterday I finished my most recent audiobook, I was likemyou know what I’ll start reading my yr of rest and relaxation again because it wasn’t bad I just don’t think I got into it but now that I’m listening to it again it is bad it was bad I’m not into it because nothing is happening. It’s excessively vulgar for no reason and where is the plot????

I think this is literary fiction/ slice of life chatty kind of book so far
And this last section was a hit too much on her going on and on about bad sex and men’s thoughts and behaviors related to bad sex little much

From the very beginning it’s not what I thought it would be, it’s setting is in modern time she’s talking about —-, based on the cover I though it was going to be set in the 1900s, 1800s
