The story opens as Bob has just sold his software company for $$$$ and is attending the Vortex SF Convention in Las Vegas, "Fans packed the restaurants 24/7 but the waitstaff didn't complain - nerds tend to overtip. I'd heard that the casinos were less happy with the level of gambling. Turns out nerds understand probability." 🤓ᕙ( •̀ ᗜ •́ )ᕗ😍
