After a 5-star opening and first 100 pages, I'm disheartened by the development of:

And

as the story moves into the second half (·•᷄_•᷅ ).

The story opens as Bob has just sold his software company for $$$$ and is attending the Vortex SF Convention in Las Vegas, "Fans packed the restaurants 24/7 but the waitstaff didn't complain - nerds tend to overtip. I'd heard that the casinos were less happy with the level of gambling. Turns out nerds understand probability." 🤓ᕙ( •̀ ᗜ •́ )ᕗ😍

It's so simply written that I'm just running through the w🏃🏼♀️o🏃🏼♀️r🏃🏼♀️d🏃🏼♀️s to the finish!
Sorry it is turning out badly. To be honest, I didn't even get to page 100 so well done having got as far as you have. There are some styles that just don't work for me.
