Btwww on the comment of nicknames if I called my friends darling I’d have so much more personality. Of I’d be living internationally (I WISH) I just aggressively call all my girl friends girl. And I call my guy friends bro. The most boring person on the planet here

I use darling and honey when I'm annoyed with ppl or want to tick them of 👀love is if I actually care, mate for forced proximity with ppl I don't dislike, but feel little to no affection for (or they're my besties and I would take a bullet for them - mate is for everyone I don't hate)

My one friend calls any and all her friends "darling" and she has like a Romanian/country accent so like imagine "darling" with a little twang to it, its amazing, she does it with even her guy friends I love it lol
