the guy I like told me my name is pretty, and then proceeded to send me a quote from one of my favorite books (that he’s currently reading) that says
“It means you’re weird”
“Uh…”
“Don’t worry. I like you anyway.”
And I think I just started liking him even more

it makes me so sad to think that in the future, the “literature” remembered and read from this era like they are classics will likely be booktok books. not all booktok books are bad, but the majority of them are mediocre and probably riddled with spice.

Reading this because one, I need some help catching up on my reading goal and short middle grade books are going to get me there (😭) and two, my mom wants to know if this is appropriate for a read aloud to my little siblings.
