The writing plunges from alright to bad when describing the main characters' eyes. The scenes/plot so far feel 'been there done that'. The main couple's interactions aren't that interesting, but whatever. I'm actually enjoying the heck out of this book. And at least Kai is fun and flirtatious instead of brooding and grumpy. Thank Roberts for that.
