This is as good a time as any for me to tell you you DO NOT use gloves to handle books, not even the ancient ones. It’s a misconception. You can actually do a lot more harm using gloves than not. Sorry, I was triggered by Ellie deciding to use a pair to handle 13th-century manuscript and have never cringed so bad 😂
