I long for this book to be adult fiction immediately as I start it. AJW I've seen what horror you can make, you could be so much more detailed if this was adult fiction.

The dynamic between Nick and Benji is incredibly predictable but maybe I'm just expecting it because of You Weren't Meant To Be Human. Also it is CRAZY how much this author resonates with decaying flesh and rot!

We keep skittering around the edge of getting truly gruesome with the body horror descriptions. It does detract a bit from the impact of the commentaries on growing older in a body that feels like it does not belong to you.
