discovering i reeeeeeeeeally hate in-office hookups, even more than I thought I did

goddammit, now the author is making me feel bad for Jay bc his adoptive parents are racist and ignorant and actively making him feel bad for wanting to connect with his Korean heritage after being raised white by white parents in a very white area :/

I still don't like how Jay acts regarding his romantic and sexual relationships, but no one deserves that

i'm way too stressed about the fact that two of the love interests are company CEO and Director of HR, respectively, for this to be categorized as a "cozy" romance
