I’m not so much reading this book as much as I am being subjected to it. I think the worst part is these characters could have been incredible if they were in literally any other book.

This translation is so bad dude why are we using Chinese familial terms and English ones in the same breath this sounds so disjointed choose one or the other 🥲. I also feel like this has a plot in the same way lacroix tastes like fruit and it’s pmo because these are cool character concepts.

I can’t really tell if it’s the story itself, the translation, or a mixture of both but…….yeah……what a pick for the first 7seas baihe 🥲
