Cops who will not care about someone like that. It’s reality. This book does not glorify the police force as all heroes who care about everyone. The main character is invested in the trans woman’s justice tho

I like how they are juggling multiple cases at a time. It makes more sense for an active police station. Some are more simple like a robbery versus ones like murder. It feels realistic. One of the cases is the assault of a trans sex worker. It is the main thing the officer is focusing on. The way some of the other officers discuss it is not political correct but I like that.
