Everything is so convenient. You just happen to have this random DNA marker. You just happen to remember everything you need when you need it. You just happen to be smart enough to discover & translate an alien language in two seconds. And I’m still stuck on how the smartest, most perfect candidate in the world just happens to be a white, middle school science teacher. All the black & brown people are flashbacks.
