Quitters Inc. - Dick Morrison discovers through his old school friend McCann an agency that provides an effective but brutal method in quitting smoking.

The Lawnmower Man - This is not related to that Pierce Brosnan movie with the same title. Harold Parkette hires a lawnmower man to trim off his lawn. It turns out the lawnmower is some mechanical monster and the operator works for the god Pan! Harold gets mowed himself.

The Ledge - The despicable crime boss Cressner blackmailed Stan Norris, who was having an affair with his wife Marcia, into circumventing the 5 inch ledge around his 45th penthouse apartment. If Stan should succeed, he walks away with $20K, his wife and his life. If he refuses, he gets implicated for heroin possession in his car.

Strawberry Spring - Nice short story with a twist ending. The narrator reminisce some murders during his college years...

Sometimes They Come Back - Bullies from Jim Norman's past return to haunt him as present-day students with mysterious deaths simultaneously happening, including Jim's wife. These old bullies murdered Jim's brother Wayne back then. Now Jim makes a pact with a demon to send these undead back to hell.

The Boogeyman. - A malevolent entity apparently from the family closet has killed the three very young children of Lester Billings over the years. Each toddler has cried "Boogeyman!" before getting killed.

An industrial washing & folding machine becomes haunted and claims its victims.

I Am the Doorway - Arthur, who was an astronaut, survived a crash landing and confined on a wheel chair for life. Later, alien eyes appear on his fingers and later on his chest on account of being exposed on a space mission to Venus.
