The fuck is the pacing in this book it’s been THREE YEARS???

Also, the constant jumping back and forth of perspectives within pages and paragraphs without clear transition indicators in the prose is insanely frustrating.

And how is it possible that no one has ever time traveled before since apparently you need a vision tied to the specific day and time to teleport? What is happening man

Pretty anticlimactic resolution of what has been the second biggest issue building this entire book.

So much of the writing in this book is tell don’t show but I’m still confused half of the time. It doesn’t help how quickly we’re expected to remember names and alliances and world building situations when they’re not introduced particularly smoothly.

What in the 4th Wing is going on right now

So much information my darn head hurts. I’m so confused by the writing style - I never know when things are happening because only paragraphs later what I assume seems to be contradicted or not make sense.

What I do understand is entertaining though

Okay that’s way more fun! I like the almost ant-like way that dragons exist (I think) in this world

That was a lot. I do like that Lessa is kind of a little asshole. Still very confused about powers and what’s happening. Hopefully exposition soon.

Fax is a little cartoonish for my tastes. Like not in a campy way.

Okay now this is much more interesting. Lessa not boring is epic.
