The festival?! The KISS?! (+how it was revealed was spectacularly done). The time travel bit is so intriguing. This lore keeps getting bigger and bigger and I’m loving it but I’m more-so genuinely impressed by how it’s all fitting so nicely into just one book this small. I also like how Heishi is cold and to-the-point to others but soft to A-Ka.

For some reason, the writing reminds me of C.S. Lewis XD. Idk why. But these two are literally so adorable and stressing me out at the same time ugh! Also, this plotline and world building is literally so good. I love A-Ka’s power as well, it’s really unique.

Definitely fast paced (like what was that time skip?!) but honestly? This world seems really cool and interestingly structured so far. Idk how but this writing is simultaneously elegant, cute, and yet flat all at once. Honestly, while the lore and secrets are keeping me interested (despite it being a little janky), A-Ka and Heishi are definitely keeping this boat afloat XD
