Fuck, now I learnt Lady Meng Po, a mythical figure from the Chinese mythology, stationed herself at River Lethe!

I hate it when authors put different myths together like they are one big happy family.

So now I am told King Yama, Hades, Anubis, King of the Dead and Lord of the Underworld from different cultures are probably the same thing.

ARGH! 😩

For some twisted reason now the Greek myth is mixed with the Japanese myth, like now you need to cross the river Lethe to get to King Yama's throne!

Plus why would she so insisted in entering a profession that is undergoing funding-cut and only having highly limited working positions?

So people have been giving Alice warnings all along, hahaha 🤣

I just learned Alice came from America, but still no idea why her life is so empty that she has nothing outside of becoming a magician.

Well, if the Professor is supposed to be a bad guy, then Alice isn't any better than him so far.

Can anyone actually feel Alice is passionate about the magical craft? Or is she only passionate about the fame and success the craft can bring her?

I almost feel sorry for Alice because as a 20-something young woman, the only thing matters to her is to become a successful scholar. That's it, no hobby, no other interest, no loved ones being mentioned.
