We finally did it! We finally finished the wee laddie wah lived. Dad bought this in Edinburgh while we were away and has been slowly reading it to us with his crazy accent and his excellent tattie hat. He did such an excellent job reading it with his crazy accent because it looks like complete nonsense on the page. Some favourites are peely wallies, bizumball, warlocks and carlines. So much fun to read all together!

Nice to reread the book version of the characters because I’ll be honest the books and movies have really blended in my mind. Not as much Ron and hermione as I remembered but we’re still finding out feet. Hagrid is wonderful though. Im sorry but that detention scene in the forest is complete bullshit though! A lot of fun and keen to read more though.

Started a reread, first time I’ve actually read it on my own I think. I really enjoyed it, lots of nostalgia obviously, but it was actually still a very fun read. Harry’s such a little sweetheart, I just love him. He’s so excited to have friends and to be at hogwarts learning. Nice to reread the book version of the characters because I’ll be honest the books and movies have really blended in my mind.
