Holding off on reading the last chapter for a minute. God that was good.

Am I going to finish this book in 3 days… probably. Is it that good, 100%. Something just about the writing has sucked me in. Like I’m somehow being infected by the same fungi Madeline presumably has been.

Dude I don’t even know how to describe it. Perfect story so far I literally have no complaints which is a complete first for me.

The world-building tidbits are nice and always appreciated. I always love when a main character has knowledge on the world around them; makes me feel like we aren’t being info-dumped on.

Also the line “I,”…”plan to go fishing.” Is freaking hilarious to me for no reason whatsoever :D
