Sometimes enemies-to-lovers works. Sometimes the love interest is just such a jerk. This started off immediately like the latter. I'm not sure how getting to England suddenly changes Maggie's opinion of him....🙄 Is he some wounded, misunderstood bad boy softie?

Mayhap Maggie is an unreliable narrator? We're meant to hate Ethan from the get-go, but maybe because we only get him through her prejudice because SHE doesn't like him.
