It’s all telling not showing. Telling me how broken they are supposed to be and I’m just supposed to feel for them??

Omg no one is forcing you to be famous.. or to paint. Sentences like the boys were too sensitive to have hearts… “but if you don’t believe that the boys’ souls can be connected across a great distance, you know nothing about them” makes me roll my eyes. Yes I don’t know anything abt them indeed.

That painting and death…. Is all they talk about. Rhe author tries to be so nonchalant about it while actually trying to act all profound. It annoys me!!!!!!

I really should give up on this book but now I’m more determined to make it to the end

That freaking painting is all they talk about. And I just hate how they keep talking about how it’s nothing, not grand at all, blah blah blah but then go on and say things like og if someone’s will notice the flowered the artist drew there. And for a not impressive painting they won’t shut up about it.

I’m bored and still not into it. Also Louisa is annoying. And while in now I’m supposed to sympathise with the friends growing up, I can’t connect with them and their stories yet

So far I’m not really into the story yet. I still find it a bit meh… and a bit preachy lol. The quote about how you have to take life for granted and that’s the courageous thing to do was cringe for me hahaha. But sticking with it for a while more to see how it goes.

Hope my mind will be changed!
