So far it’s just fine. A little too dialogue heavy w/o much breathing room for observations of each other to emphasize the falling in love. I’m kind of confused by the religion of the world, the world building, & what the FMC believes. It just doesn’t feel clear. & also he’s actually death, right? That’s where this is going? He knows how to stop death but he needs to find a reason to let things live 1st
