I am sorry but no matter the reasoning behind it Rokuji is an insecure dick who likes to beat up people. It would not matter what kind of boss he would have had. The only time he would have listened to any authority figure is when that figure beats him down and makes him say: "Thank you for the beating."

He is what we call 'A mediocre man', just by existing they think they should get special treatment.
