I also loved 'pressure' which is the one about killing a pheasant by accident and I found it really interesting how that was brought back to the idea of killing a person and how easily someone can do the first meaning they could almost as easily do the second; and 'Hotel' which might actually be my favourite of them all as I loved the comparison between a man and a hotel carpet.

Those four favourites were: 'representation' because I loved the way all these random images were related and it was about how each one reflects something else that it isn't and that is totally based off your own experience; 'the best thing about falling' because I loved the way it showed the physical side of falling and related it back to the feeling of this that no one else can actually see.

I particularly enjoyed the bit focused around the pheasant (as a bird and then how it is seen through the eyes of humans). Despite saying many of them were rather meh, there were actually some that I really enjoyed and will definitely go back and reflect on again. There were four main ones, although certain lines from other poems also stood out to me.

I do appreciate that there was a lot of experimentation going on which was definitely interesting as I could see all the different structures being used. It just made some of them harder to understand. The ones focused around life experiences, stories or his relationship were more interesting. I also liked how a lot of the poems led on from each other so there were almost different sections of themes.

I had to read some poems from this for my creative writing module (it was written by one of the lecturers) but I decided to finish it after getting the physical copy. I found quite a lot of the poems rather meh and didn't really connect to them as they were written in a little bit of a strange style with strange topics.
