I think it’s interesting how, even after Cain killed his brother and God cursed him to be a vagabond because of committing the first murder, He still protected him by putting a mark on him that no man should kill him while he wandered. God protects us even in our punishment

I see God rewarding those who fear Him more than they fear the kings of Egypt. The midwives refused to kill the male infants, therefore fulfilling God’s command to be fruitful and multiply, and it said God dealt well with them gave them houses. God blesses obedience, He does not bless disobedience

The fact that Issac almost being sacrificed by his own father is such a nod to Jesus on the Cross is just mind blowing. I was jotting down so many notes. Every book of the Bible whispers Jesus’s name <3

Oh that's interesting that you interpreted it that way, you're probably right. I read it and thought it meant so that his curse woudn't be cut short, but this makes more sense.
I agree, God's mercy is amazing even when people disobey Him. I also find it interesting how when Abraham didn't trust that God would give him a son with Sarah so he had Ismael with Hagar, God still promises to bless Ismael even though he wasn't part of God's plan.
