Can we stop putting readers into categories? We have enough stereotyping in this world already. Like the “thought daughter” “book girlie” “authentic reader”

Can’t we all just be readers? 😭

So prince & princess warriors do exist. They walk thru the streets every day. You’ll never know if you’ve walked by one, but trust me, when they use their weapon, sharper than a double-edged sword, you’ll know.

They wear special armor, their sword is a book, and they are descended from the greatest King in history. I should know, I’m one of these warriors. Because I’m a child of God.

My sister, who’s a non-reader, CHOSE to read Pride and Prejudice for school! Ah I’m so proud of her! I got her hooked on the 1995 tv series and now she’s reading it!

Next mission: Get her to read Jane Eyre (which she actually wants to read next because she loved the 1996 film adaption)

My fellow Christians please pray that she grows in the faith 🙏🏻 I’m literally so happy for her. If she has truly given her life to Jesus, then y’all, we have gained a fellow sister in Christ

So the lot of them trying to decide on which play they should perform, and everyone just bickering and bickering, sounds JUST like me and my siblings deciding on what movie to watch 😂 Familial arguments have always been a thing, I guess

And even more Edmund and Tom fighting about whether to do the play or not is like my sis yelling at her twin bro to not put on some inappropriate movie! 🤣

The humor in Jane Austen novels is unmatched y’all 😂

I’m convinced Edmund isn’t aware of his own feelings because what do you mean he’s complimenting and defending Fanny at every opportunity yet thinks he’s in love with Mary Crawford?!

Oh yeah this is more like it 😏 Chunky epic dragon fantasy and I’ll finally get to finish the Inheritance Cycle! Y’all, I. Am. Back.

I’m sorry, but I’m dnf’ing. I can’t connect with the writing style, the pacing is weird, and the main character is coming across as a pick me. I only bought this for four dollars, so it’s not too much of a waste.

Someone please tell me why this isn’t as popular as Emma or Pride and Prejudice?! Excuse me but this might become my favorite Austen novel 😭 Fanny is so precious and Edmund is just an angel, and all the characters are just so well-written

I don’t like the writing style so far. Every little description has extremely passionate vocabulary and it feels try-hard gritty and just comes across as flat

First tbr pull since wrapping up all my books! Happy that’s it’s not a massive series, though I would have preferred I pull the rest of the Caraval series 🙁

So my family and I could use to prayers finding a new church. We just started to notice ways of preaching we don’t agree with (if you’re curious feel free to ask) and could y’all just pray we find a church that shows the light of Jesus and preaches the way Jesus would preach?

I just realized that one of the couples that I wrote for my cyberpunk novel are a mashup of Judy + Nick and Poppy + Branch, no wonder they make me giggle when I write about them 😭
