This book has reignited my love for YA novels. A certain someone punched a certain someone away from Scarlett, and I swear, sat up straight and just cheered for joy. I’m not exaggerating at all I was that happy

I can already tell this is gonna become a new obsession. Full of whimsy and wit and I can most certainly foresee this being a mashup of The Hunger Games and The Greatest Showman, two of my favorite stories of all time

I should not be laughing at this, but I cackled reading that. Sounds like something one of my characters would say 😂

I really, really want to know what authors mean when they say “wolfish” concerning smiles. So far I’m really liking this but the “wolfish smiles” always make me chuckle. The image that pops into my head is not sexy or flattering, but more akin to an animated grinning wolf

So I know Julian is supposed to be the love interest…so why the heck was he caught, in the SECOND CHAPTER, kissing TELLA, Scarlett’s younger sister?! And it very much implied to leading to more…

Please don’t tell me he’s the playboy type of love interest, I’m not super into those 😭
