There’s a reason I will not read anything by Francine Rivers, and this book is the reason for that 😕

I’ve read the book and I’d have to say it’s one of my favorites. It’s really sad and heartbreaking and I wanted to throw the book away so many times while reading it because it’s a hard read (in the since that there is some hard reality in there and it is raw) I had so many tears and and emotions I didn’t even know how to feel. But the overall story is amazing. It’s not just a book with a sick and twisted story. It’s a book that shows a picture of how we treat God and despite how much we forsake and turn away from Him, He is always there with open arms waiting for us. He loves us so much that He’s willing to wait for us to come back, cause we are precious to Him✨

I tried to read one of her books last year and I was really uncomfortable with certain things. They just aren't for me.
