So FIVE (technically four) whole primarchs knew in advance about the heresy and for whatever reason it all still went down like that

There’s a lord commander who’s dripped out ready for war and he brings his pet thylacine around with him. Now ordinarily that wouldn’t be too surprising but in a later book one of the smartest humans in the setting claims that the tail of a common monkey was actually a stinger. It’s not a complaint by any means I just think it’s silly.

John Grammaticus has arrived and I’m putting this book down for now
