Find it interesting that many Toni Morrison books spend like half the story setting up the world before we really lock into the main characters - or is it that she just loves an ensemble instead.

Always surprised at the fact that I never really know what a Toni Morrison book is about. Did not expect this to suddenly turn into a story about sexual politics. Sula would love the ethical slut.
