We are in snoozefest territory and I'm having less fun than I was in the first few stories. I understand the "moral teachings" of some of these and either disagree with them or find that the tale told is incredibly flat and boring in pursuit of this lesson. le sighhhhh

okay granted im reading an edition with fewer pages than what it says here. ANYWAYS. skipped man of law bc ts was too christian but reeve and miller were surprising and fun to read? less as stories and more like huh i didnt know this would be in the literature

page six sevennn. anyways having my expectations very pleasantly flipped on their head by the miller's tale! no longer is everyone a perfect little angel, outmogging each other in nobility. the miller himself is a rude drunkard and his story is about adultery and other inappropriate topics...
