Okay, I’m doing the immersive read for real this time. It has taken some getting used to and though my eyes read faster than 1.4, it’s the best speed for when my mind starts to wander so I’d rather read slower the majority of the time so I don’t have to catch up in the minority if that makes sense.
Also, I never realized how often narrators adlib, that’s really what’s taking the most to adjust to
