I have a friend who laughs when I pick up a book to read and then complain about it. I tell her I’m taking one for the team, she thanks me and laughs some more. The writing here is okay. It’s predictable and has a rhythm to it I’ve seen a little often, so while it’s funny and warm, it’s not fresh or unique. We’ll see how long I last. Don’t hold you breath.
