Ugh. It was hot enough to proof yeast? What does that even mean? How hot is that? I don't know. How many people are going to know what that means? I love the Lady Sherlock books, I wanted to like this because it's set just a few miles from where I live.... but wow.

They keep talking about an "entrapment" scheme the police set up to arrest the bad guys - as if it's a good thing. Entrapment is a legal defense term lawyers use to say a defendant would never have committed a crime if the law hadn't coerced them into it. Why on earth is it being used in this context?
