Just finished 1st chapter. Enjoying the humorous illustrations. Fermented urine? Yikes! Wondering if there is a glossary. Many words are defined in context, but some, such as temazcal (PG 18) have not been.

So far, I am enjoying the introductory stories at.the beginning of each chapter. These help establish a perspective for.the switch in time periods. I am not so sure about how often generalizations about different countries and/or cultures are used.
