It's getting better? - maybe just because of the suspense that i want clarity on

Curious about the high ratings for this book... cheesy and bad/ basic writing.
Seems kind of predictable maybe at the outset ?
Predictions: Logan the boyfriend was actually a "plant". Trying to find the sister. Something hiding on his computer. The stupid bracelet has some kind of tracker in it.
Also the immediate sexual fantasy of the tattooed man?
