Ludwick is resilient against Janusz’ help. It’s clear that Janusz deeply cares for Ludwick, despite their political differences, but Ludwick does not appreciate those efforts after knowing he got the help from the girl Janusz is leading on. I wish Ludwick would open his heart to see the efforts Janusz is taking.

The retreat into Hania’s parent’s estate was a nice change of scenery and events. Janusz was cruel for having sex with Hania after just making out with Ludwik during hide and seek. But it definitely was the poppy soup that made them do things they normally wouldn’t do because of the drugs.

I was shocked at Ludwick making an effort to add fuel to Poland’s revolution with his pamphlets despite the danger that would result after. That shows bravery.
