It's so funny that everytime anyone hears the monster speak about his struggles they're like "someone must do something for this poor guy! Humans are compassionate" and then they see him and they immediately shit/cry/run/fight.
This book is hilariously about pretty privilege

I love the visual of the monster putting his hand in front of victor's face and saying "thus I release thee, my creator" after victor pretty much tells him to fuck off.
