I'm always a sucker (painfully) for an epilogue that discusses how the story became legend and loses its impact on the world after decades and centuries.

IN OTHER WORDS I'm not a fan of the villainizing of Perseus. That boy had a lot of his own problems to worry about (including defending women in similar positions as Medusa was in this book), so... that definitely could've been discussed with more nuance.

So we didn't discuss slave/class relations in this at all, and Medusa doesn't see how that affected her relationship with her friend.

I also wish this part of the book (Medusa/Apollonia) wasn't so rushed.

ALSO also we all know Medusa gives birth post death to Pegasus and the golden warrior lol, I'm assuming we're not doing that plot line here

So she could train herself to control the stone power? How many people had to get turned for her to train lmao, we're just glossing over that
