tala > Status Update

Hi everyone, my lovely sweet grandfather passed away in Egypt this week and I’m not doing too well. A tireless activist who spent years in exile from Sudan and returned only to be displaced by the war, he was a professor before he retired and loved to read. He’s the reason why I love books and we’d talk for hours about literature. I’m resolving to never not be reading this year to honour him💗
