Ok the mystery and plot twist with Lindsay was gooood.

But I can’t with how naive Ethan is??? A killer who wants to kill your gf is in the loose and you bring her to secluded cabin with no protection at all? Lol. Also the ppl transporting Francis are stupid?? Why would you stop when you are transporting a high risk criminal and also no other trucks following it? Unbelievable

Despite being a bit slow so far with a number of characters to keep up with, I’m enjoying the book so far. However I’m wondering why Ethan doesnt just check the visitation records of Francis?? Since previously they also mentioned that it’s not easy to visit him and there is a list? Obviously someone is helping him carry out things on the outside and they have to had communicated while visiting him at prison.

Finally the story is starting to go somewhere.
