i’m convinced that the voice is some sort of antagonist to the gods that keep getting mentioned and the scarred man is one of the gods, probably sar bc hatred/terror concerning him is literally codified into the language of the universe. also convinced that the inconsistencies eris is noticing is bc kairos is being controlled somehow or at least influenced by the voice.

first impression is that the prose is gorgeous. the passage about the titan rly stuck with me. also curious what direction kairos’ arc will go in or if it will remain static concerning his perspective on humans with “idiocy was cruelty... no less from humans.” obviously he’s very fixated on revenge right now, so curious to see how this plays out, especially if or when he starts interacting with more people.
