I did not remember how political this book is!!! A very very rewarding reread. It is frustrating though to find the "evil people are obese/deviant" trope, which I did not remark on when I read it for the first time ten years ago.

Haven't read this in ten years. I've owned three copies, and never managed to hold them for long, lending them out immediately. The copy I'm reading now, luckily, is borrowed. I'm already so excited about it, again.
