mmmm meh. It’s got good potential, but I’m not into the spice for two+ chapters right at the beginning of the book. I just want more….. substance? It feels like it’s not quite deep enough for the gravity of some situations, and it feels like we’re hopping from boulder to boulder instead of walking on a path of rocks.
