story six: OUCH. also: siri play “ruin the friendship” by taylor swift (that way he could not spend seven years with a man he didn’t want waiting for his college best friend to call to ruin his life)
story seven: depressing. cranky old man being reminded of the trauma of losing his brother half a century earlier
story eight: girl he doesn’t love you he has memory issues and thought you were someone else

Story five was impressively intricate considering it was only 24 pages. It’s the first time I’ve considered a narrator to be unreliable in a Lily King book. The narrator claims her brother is acting different but really he is giving the love to everyone all while she refuses to accept love for herself.

I am not sure how I feel about the fourth story. All I can think about is how hard it must be to be a parent.
