Current thoughts about 85% of the way through this book:

Stuff is getting “eventful” but the book spends what feels like an inordinate amount of time describing a daisychain of events / circumstances on the yacht that never really elevate beyond “vaguely weird” in terms of severity. You are not rewarded handsomely until about 70% of the way through when stuff really hits the fan….

Loving every minute so far - witty, funny, absurdly catty, and the imminent feeling that something bad is about to happen. Took almost no time to get going and the author does a phenomenal job at getting you to remember characters through vivid descriptions
