It’s so dense. So many people, dates and places!! I’m remembering a lot more than the last time I tried, but this one is going to take a while!!

Of course antisemitism was in the air as Hitler was growing into politics in Vienna. *facepalm*
“He (Hitler, late teens - early 20’s) buried himself in anti-Semitic literature, which had a large sale in Vienna at the time.”
Also Dr. Karl Luger, Hitler’s philosophical & political mentor - a Christian Socialist and intellectual anti-Semite. It tracks, given the reformation history, but I hadn’t considered it.

Here we go - starting again, and hopefully I’ll make some serious progress this winter!
My goal is to be at least halfway by spring (mid-March). We’ll see!

Seth Took me several years and many chapters/sections reread. I’ve found it helped to mix in shorter books where there might be overlap. For some reason just seeing the names and places in other books helped firm it up.

Tiffany I thought about doing that but I didn’t know if it’d confuse me more! l’ll try it.
