As God is for us, who can be against us?

The invisible hand of God directs everything in history, including our personal history to do us eternal good.

God did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for our salvation. Thus, God will not withhold anything from us that is for our own good.

Jesus Christ was made just like us in every way, yet without sin. He sympathises with our weakness and he knows our frame.

Nothing can separate the love of Christ for us.

No one can condemn God’s children. There is only one who condemns, the Lord Jesus Christ, who took our punishment upon himself.

Assurance is a gift that God freely gives. If God did not withhold his one and only Son, but gave him up for us, how much more shall we receive the gift of assurance.

Abiding in Christ is letting the mind of Christ dwell richly in you.

It is very important to let the Word of God be absorbed in one’s mind for maturity.

As the Bible is daily medicine for our sick soul, we are to take it daily and not only when we feel like it. We are to feed our minds with the word of Christ.

Love the point that we all try to take short-cuts in spiritual growth, but maturity takes time and patient study of the Word of God.

As “lasting influences develop by understanding rather than feeling”.
